Every sink begins as a single block of stone. We carve it, hollow it and polish it by hand, until it becomes the quiet centre of your bathroom.

The Kurna · Since the 1500s

The Heart of the Hammam

For five centuries the kurna has stood at the heart of the Turkish hammam: one block of stone, hollowed by hand, catching warm water from a brass tap. In our Afyonkarahisar workshop we still carve every basin this way, from travertine and marble, one at a time. Rough-split outside, polished smooth as water inside, made to bring the calm of the hammam into your home.

Natural stone

No two blocksof stone are alike.Neither are twoof our sinks.

Every vein and every shift of colour was formed over millions of years. We choose each block by eye and carve your sink from it alone, so the one you receive exists nowhere else.

How long does it take to make my sink?

Every sink is carved to order, by hand. It is ready to leave our workshop in Afyonkarahisar within 1 to 2 weeks, and we send you tracking as soon as it is on its way.

How much is shipping?

Shipping is free, worldwide. Each sink is wrapped and packed in its own wooden crate so the stone travels safely to your door.

Can I choose a custom size or stone?

Yes. Send us the width of your wall, the stone you love and a photo of your space, and we will draw the sink for you before a single cut is made. Start your custom sink

Will my sink look exactly like the photos?

Marble and travertine are natural stones, so the veins, colour and texture change from block to block. Your sink will share the character of the photos, but its pattern will be its own. No two are ever the same.

What comes in the box?

The sink itself. Faucet, drain and wall fixings are not included, so you are free to choose fittings in the finish that suits your bathroom.

How do I care for a stone sink?

Wipe it with a soft cloth and a mild, pH-neutral soap. Avoid acidic or abrasive cleaners, which can dull the polish. A stone sealer every 6 to 12 months keeps the surface protected for years.

How do I order?

Choose your sink and stone, and order directly on our website with secure checkout. If you would like to talk it through first, write to us on WhatsApp or through our contact page.
